emotions
i have plans to close this blog down because i'm becoming increasingly lazy to update it.
but before i make any moves, i need to change my layout! i'm considering bright and warm colours this time - influence from fababina perhaps. haha i have a rough idea of the background already but my only worry is its inclination to look gay.
i'll seek opinions soon.
+++++++
i have a gazillion things to blog about because it's been eons since i've ranted and raved to this dearest blog. but i suppose i'll bore all of yu to tears if i were to launch into an exhaustive saga of all the happenings. so, i've decided to do selective blogging. (aiiyo i realised i'm damn long winded, but maybe that's good. haha parent in training)
what shall i blog about?
ah, i'll start with the norm.
SCHOOLtruthfully, the mere mention of that word brings to mind three words: BORING DRAINING INFERNAL
i hereby declare my strong dislike for school because it's been causing me a lot of distress. the reasons behind this phenomenon(because i never thought i'd hate school) are not verified yet but i'd like to think it's stress, stress and more stress. i should expect things to continue to deteriorate as the mid years are edging closer.
really sorry if i've been irritable, short-fused and expressionless lately. i was telling lard and jashan that my mood resembles the infinite sine curve with an amptitude of 10. it's really quite bad huh. i'll keep my temper and mood-swings in check so hopefully things will be better next week! maybe it was just an extremely rough week.
anyhow, there were definitely things which made my mood peak once in a while. one of such was mrs logan! i absolutely enjoy her lessons because yu can tell she's very dedicated and she tries her best to make every lesson the best she's ever taught. she's always lightening our moods with her stories and her unique hearty laughter :) occasionally, she'll touch on social and political issues which will engage my puny brain - which happens to be very rare because i hardly think. every GP lesson is something to look forward to with every inch of eagerness in me, haha.
one of the more memorable lessons would probably be the one on subliminal messages in songs. honestly i was rather disturbed by it. i won't elaborate but here's
the link to know more about backmasking of songs for any interested parties!
ooh yeah, mrs logan mentioned that journalists these days are scouting around for youngsters' blogs to dig out juicy gossips or potential news-worthy happenings basically. so.. we're supposedly supposed to be mindful of the things we say in our blogs yada yada, yu get the drift. whatever man, these people should just die fullstop.
OKAY enough about logan or people may start thinking i'm gay. i have justin already so i'm not :)
moving on, i shall blog about..
MY CLASSi think it's good that all of us are becoming more bonded! it is them who made my days everyday both knowingly and unknowingly :) we had a class bbq last week and i'm glad it was a blast with 12 out of 15 people turning up! christian joined us later in the night too. to wrap up, things were just fun, jokes and hotdogs galore, lardifyingly pudgey, squid-making, smile-inducing, shortage-of-chicken-wings.com, cam-whoraged, mosquitoes infesting, fire from lighter tricks-ed, fulfilling AND tiring :)
i shall post some photos!

this is leon fishing for squids. haha, shopping in giant with the 214 people can be terribly exhausting because we're all so picky and budget-conscious, we spent almost 3 hours buying the food. the squids were gross before being cooked, but marvellous after bbq-ing :) and jashan was darn funny with her, "hui koon, WHERE WERE YOU WHEN GOD GAVE OUT BRAINS?" haha! i really like her company!
okay i was lazy and i left all the photo-taking to leon's camera so i don't have much photos. SO LEON, RAI AND YU-YU! please send me photos soon!

group photo! yay we look so homely don't we? haha :)
05s214 is uberly fantastic!

i shall start painting a gloomy picture once again as i blog about:
BANDjoie de vivre II(take note of spelling, haha i can't take it when people misspell it) is drawing closer to us every practice but i somehow feel that we're not making much improvement. our repertoire is super heavy and i really pray that we won't pass away in the midst of the concert.
i feel that i'm not helping because my playing skills have deteriorated. i sound reedy every practice and i can't hold for four short bars so i really deserve to be banished to the ends of the world. individuals seem to be the sole solution to the problem but time is not on my side. haha yu'd probably think 'excuses excuses' but i really can't afford to be practising after school daily when my homework always seems to be unTOUCHED.
so basically my passion for band has pretty much dissipated and i no longer feel the drive to head for practices with zest. sectionals are getting demanding because vincent is doing a darn good job in training our stamina. pros and cons, i must say.
needless to say, combines are killers because we all tend to die halfway during practice. with the umpteen times we have to repeat the songs due to our incapabilities, it's no wonder the thought of combine always fills me with dread.
hong wei mentioned during the last practice that we're gonna step down in less than 3 weeks! it provided a reality check for me that my term of office is coming to an end soon so maybe i should start adopting a positive attitude towards band lest i regret in the future for not treasuring my last few moments in band. it's pretty saddening that things are approaching an end so soon. frankly i'm unwilling to leave the band but it's an inevitable process of life so i'll just have to resign to my fate. i'll miss mjcsb.. because it's practically my life in mjc.
that's why i'm anticipating but not looking forward to JDV II.
ANYHOW! i'll just live in the moment(s), enjoy the last few practices, and try my utmost to collect much more memories of the time spent in mjcsb before i step down. nothing beats having a whole slew of unforgettable memories in your head yeah :)
let's hope JDV II will be
another sell-out concert!

i can't recall much to blog about anymore. what's freshest in my brain now is, of course,
today's happenings!
i woke up to a lot of sunlight this morning because it was already eleven am when my eyes decided to open. i ps-ed fabian and juling last minute because i was unable to fight off the sleeping bug. they went to the flea market at havelock road(?) and oh my goshhh i kinda regretted backing out last minute. ahh i heard they were going insane in that furnace-like warehouse because the buys were good and
cheap. when they brought me there in the evening, all the good stuff were pretty much
gone already. everything there was nice (i heard) but it's sweltering hot inside! juling commented she was about to "combust". haha funny, she was. at the end of the day, juling, fabian and jun were the happiest people because they bought nice things at nice prices.
yu should have seen the look on their faces. their sense of delightfulness is similar to that of a child who had all the ice creams in the world. haha crazy i tell yu.
we made a trip to ikea before hitting the flea market. i had justin with me so things were nice too, haha. the things there were intriguingly interesting. minus the crowd, things would be near-perfect. now i understand how sarah and hui yi felt after making a trip to ikea too.
(my eyes are closing)
i made an attempt to study just now and boy, i was amazed at myself for doing my math assignment. of course, none of that would have happened if i wasn't under the watchful eye of justin. haha he's like a parent can. and fabian was supporting him in the make-huikoon-study-project so obviously i was left with no choice but to do my work.
but good la, at least i did something. haha though i annoyed justin because i have an attention span of a five-year-old.
sorry but studying really sucks.

time for some
randoms!
1] bio lectures are fun because i have good company (pok, fab and gang) and ms wang unknowingly humorous.
2] i'm becoming more aware of politics and such after the election fever. something good i presume? haha at least i'm no longer THAT ignorant.
3] visit
mr brown's site for some really funny Persistently Non-political Podcast specials, haha.
4] kang zhuang mentioned that i mentioned justin often in my blog (and i bet he's implying that i'm gay, haha) but that won't stop me from doing so. haha.
5] i l o v e j u s t i n !
goodnight! :)
