drive.
i'm fascinated at the rate of how time slips away unknowingly.
i wonder who invented time. granted that without time, everything would be in a state of chaos, and there wouldn't be dates to events, and it would be difficult to keep a record of everything and anything, and the world would just crumble.
but
with time, i feel that we're becoming restricted, like as though there's a totalitarian regime for us to follow. at 7.30am, i'm supposed to be in school taking the pledge. at the age of 2-3, we're supposed to be able to talk. at 12 we're supposed to hit puberty. in mid-twenties, we're supposed to have graduated from the university. and at this, we're supposed to be that. yu get what i mean?
try imagining a world without time! (i know it's unfathomable, but i said 'try')
perhaps the earth would be a better place to be in.
+++++++
sorry for the digression, i was intending to talk about the camp we had last week initially. it's been a week since we had the camp! how time flew.
i realised.. i'm falling in love with this bunch of band fanatics! hope i'm not too late in dedicating an entry for everyone in the exco!
jun! (the woman behind us all) :
THANK YOU for
+ putting everything in place
+ being our pillar of support when everything didn't seem to go well
+ standing firm and strong (which gave me hope!)
+ the crazy moments during meetings and debriefings
+ being so determined to give your best in the execution of dial M
+ listening to our grievances(or anything we had to say basically) patiently
+ being the sole survivor at 4.30am when we had to vet the scripts
+ the skirt for dial M, haha
+ (and lastly)
BEING YOU!
thanks woman, for keeping us together when things seemed to crumble. the exco couldn't have done it without yu! i love your company, your quirks, your ugly hair, and yu! :)
kailing! (elizabeth andre, hong wei's sweetheart - sorry yuhan!) :
yu're one heck of a funny person, kailing! your sleeping-while-reading-dialM-scripts is classic, and i loved yu more after that :) yu were always the one who's under control with steady nerves when all of us were on the verge of a nervous breakdown(especially jun, yu should see her during preparations for dial M). what can i say man, yu're level-headed, cool, steady, and more importantly, SANE. haha yu're always tying up loose ends and being there for jun, and basically, yu're like the mother of the exco! what would we/jun do without yu, woman? haha, stay amusing and elmo-like and motherly!
jie ying! (vittoria the psycho, our dearest treasurer!) :
JIE YING! i never knew yu could act until this year. haha yu're the oldest in our exco thus i shall push the blame to yu for leading us astray i.e. introducing alcohol during our saturday meetings! (SECRET EXPOSED!) hahaha perhaps that was why we were able to come up with such a twisted story for dial M. thanks woman! - for being so fun to be with :) your chinese is damn pro and i've always admired yu for that. thanks for making dial M a little more than freaky with your psychotic act! oh! and your panasonic phone has always been a useful device for me to play around with, haha. hope your math improved tremendously from all that handling of the accounts! thanks for the experience and thanks for everything :)
hong wei! (victor? haha i forgot.) :
koh hong wei ling (haha i know yu'd probably give me that -__-" look)! things wouldn't be the same without your presence! jun has always thought yu were charismatic, and i couldn't agree more :) your videos with kailing are priceless and i think yu're as funny as sookun! haha that's a compliment because sk is funny in a good way. yu try your best to be as gentlemanly as yu possibly could and i think it worked because i find yu gentlemanly! hahaha thanks for being
THE LOG(istics)
MAN though i know it wasn't easy especially since i took so long to come up with my proposal before yu could
start on yours! haha. yu were our fellow drinker and it was indeed fun having yu around :) thanks for being a source of strength for us during this crucial period, and stay cute! hahaha YHW forever!
yosua! (OUR BELOVED KURT!) :
KURT! haha though your accent was funny, i think yu did well :) thanks for being the food person and being so dedicated in bringing the best(food) for everyone. (i know yu people thought the food sucked, but be appreciative of yosua's effort ya!) haha yu're like a small boy! always disapproving of us having alcohol around but believe it or not, yu made a difference! haha yu're the exco's pragmatist and i'm thankful for that. thanks for always thinking ahead for us and keeping things in check! i think your hair is short enough already, so stop having haircuts! haha, your 'excoS' will always be remembered :)
zheng yi & xuan wei! (the BIG BAD BULLIES) :
i'll never forget both of your cold and lame jokes that were mostly prevalent last year - thank God all of that has subsided pretty much now, haha. i don't remember the both of yu being in specific committees for the camp, but i know the two of yu helped out a lot so thanks much for that! zheng yi! thanks for your muscles which made carrying and moving things easy :) yu should continue staying trim and fit and muscular so as to render better service to the exco next time! hahaha jk :) thanks for lending us all your helping hands whenever needed! and thanks for the PT which none of us participated in, haha! :) xuan wei! thanks for being the photographer and videographer(whatever that is) for the camp! thanks for capturing all the memorable, funny, beautiful, unglam and valuable moments! yu reminded me of yixiang last year. haha. oh yeah, thanks for helping out with the water bombs too!
in all, all of yu deserve a hundred rounds of applause for all the tremendous effort put into this major event :) please make yourselves free next(or the following) weekend for our long-awaited outing!

mjcsb exco 05-06 is lurrrvee! :))
