freedom! forever!

the opportunity for me to rest is finally here! but nope, i've just decided to happily squander my time on socialisation (msn & phone). haha right, i'm lying. my msn's been inactive for quite some time already.

ANYWAY! it's time for some updates!
one week of futile attempts to mug real hard for the block tests really painted a gloomy picture of my life. day after day, i sat by the study benches worrying about the countless remedial classes i will definitely have to attend due to my mediocre block tests grades. i'm sure it's gonna be a fate worse than death. BUT, i'm well-prepared. haha had it coming since the effort channelled into studying wasn't much to start with anyway.. heh.

sarah and lard are becoming an integral part of my official study gang, since they were the only ones willing to stay in school till uncivilised hours of the night with me. fabian comes and goes so it will be an overstatement on my side to consider him an essential of the team. haha.

i must really thank God for these wonderful souls who kept me going. the block tests were rather demoralising, mostly attributed to the math paper of course. i was frozen stiff and i didn't have capability to figure out every question(what's new) thus having extra time, so my mind wasn't kept occupied. basically it was torturous for me because i had to distract myself from the cold lest i froze to the marrow while passing time.

but, i digress. late studying in school was nice with these people around. and my definition of 'late' implies the absence of living creatures in our vicinity of the study area (minus the lizardsTHE HORROR, pesky flies and the insecurity guard). the school compound was as empty as a bimbo's brain. i like it sometimes, because i feel as though i've got the whole school to myself, haha. our common conversation(-after-giving-up-on-studying) topics revolved mostly around childhood, lizardsTHE HORROR and plastic surgery(the current dawn yeo is damn hot bytheway). fun, it was! having to talk and talk and talk, haha :)

and so, the chem paper today marked the END of my worst nightmare. okay i lied, the A level examinations that are looming ominously ahead still top my chart of 'The Dreadfuls'. but then again i need to, once in a while, wallow in self-pity and indulge myself fully in some form of enjoyment before embarking on my next study journey.

i managed to catch V for Vendetta, and boy it was fantastic. however, what intrigued me wasn't so much of the film being action-packed. i think it was the idea behind the story plot (ideas are bullet-proof). it really got me thinking a lot during and after the show. i like some of the quotes! haha it's definitely one of the better shows i've watched. unlike FD 3, where all the killings were excessive and unnecessary. so kids out there! if yu're looking for a good movie to watch after your common tests / block tests / what-have-yous, go watch V FOR VENDETTA! it will certainly blow yu away :)

mm, but come to think of it.. it's quite the wrong movie to watch after your tests right?! haha after all yu're supposed to relax and probably laugh your asses off at some nonsensical movies like date movie, instead of engaging your brains in strenous activities like thinking. heh.

+++++++

anyhow, if yu're looking for things to keep yourself occupied, go to the youtube site for some really good videos! search for cyril takayama's videos (lard's recommendation), and watch him perform magic tricks that are indeed out-of-this-world! he can place yu in absolute awe because his tricks are very original. NOT the usual criss angel nonsense where his illusions are portrayed in a somewhat satanic way. so go watch them yah! :)

+++++++

i've feeling lesbianic for some reasons. i won't go into greater elaboration though. haha.

V for VJCSB who's going hawaii tomorrow. aaahh, i miss xiuyu.

and of course,
V for Very tired because i haven't been sleeping well.

so long and goodnight, friends :)
two more days.
