genesis, haha :)
FIRST POST OF 2006!i had to make it big, bright and GREEN because my new year resolutions are..
i. to start having a
BIG heart, and stop being a meanie
ii. being
BRIGHT and hardworking cause the last time i checked the calendar, it indicated that the A levels are just eleven months away
iii. to eat more
GREENs, and exercise to shed off those lard!
i'm sure there are 3, 673, 902 MORE promises for me to make, but i'll just stick to three for the time being. yu wouldn't want me to type a page full of my new year resolutions, would yu? after all, it's not often that yu get to post an entry on the first day of a year.
school reopens the day after tomorrow! am i looking forward to it? NOPE! i think most of yu would share my sentiments. haha, my holiday assignments are NOWHERE near completion. in addition to that, we're having orientation for the first whole week so i'm gonna fall behind academically, AGAIN. how delightful! AND, that's not all. i'm not exactly the most sociable person around, so i'll have to banish all anti-social elements in me before orientation starts. damn it, i regret signing up for OGL. i really do.
school aside, BLESSED 2006 EVERYONE! i can't believe it's year 2006 already. i'll miss 2005 that's for sure, but at least it wasn't a bad experience at all when i look back on it. in fact, i'll find myself grinning from ear to ear whenever i think about things that happened last year. haha, i'm so not used to thinking that it's 2006!
we went to countdown last night; gave 2005 an official closure by lighting up the sparklers and flinging them (unsuccessfully) down the hill of bedok reservoir park. i can't believe we actually took uncle's suggestion seriously and really had a picnic by the reservoir just to usher in the new year. things were fine, other than the multitude of insects which went round biting us and making disgusting noises(omg, i hate lizards).
everything's going by too quickly! if only time wouldn't seem such a drag when the exams are just around the corner, and vice versa when we're merrymaking.
here's to a smashing year ahead and lots more fun, laughter, peace and joy :)
