2005 :)
i'm thankful that i still have the time to blog before 2005 reaches closure at twelve tonight.
year 2005's been a blast! i enjoyed almost every bit of it gloriously from the start to the very end. of course, all of that wouldn't have been possible without friends!
2005's been hectic! but time just whizzes past when yu're as busy as a bee. it's the sheer volume of happenings i've been through that is making my life so enriched and fulfilled. my deepest and perhaps, only regret would be that time passes so quickly that i've hardly any time to consolidate my relationships with most people.
i haven't been doing a good job in keeping contact with majority of my secondary school friends. the person i'm closest to is, of course, xiuyu. but still, we do have difficulties meeting to catch up because of our busy schedule.
anyhow, 2005's been really wonderful so i shouldn't have much complaints =)
my two months worth of end-year holidays zoomed past me in the blink of an eye. project work took up half of my november, and the remaining half were eaten up by OSVAP. december was band, band, band, genting competition, outing, bbq, outing, band, outing, band, band, outing, band, slacking, band, band and more band. my whole december holidays were revolving around band like as though there's no tomorrow. band practices may be a real chore to attend at times but at least they kept us occupied. now, we can have another reason to NOT complete our holiday assignments =)
looking back, i've really truly seriously enjoyed myself for the entire year. i've never been as crazy and enthusiastic and everything! thanks a million for people who were there for me always, who kept me going during difficult times, who stood by me and gave me support whenever needed, who made me smile/giggle/chuckle/laugh/guffaw/bellow uproariously, who basically, made a difference in my life =) thanks so much for all of yu!
and so, we're gonna usher in the new year in a few hours' time. this expression is superbly overused but i'm gonna use it anyhow - TIME FLIES! i can foresee myself typing the last entry of 2006 next year. ugh, IF ONLY time could be put on hold. i'd gladly lose twenty years of my life to do so, haha.
2006 - new year, new resolutions, new start :)
let's pray that everything will be smooth-sailing for all!
for the j2s, let's pray for brains and discipline as we mug hard for our dreadful exams.
for the seniors, all the best for your future endeavours. pray for strength as yu move on each day.
for everyone else, may yu be at peace with the world at all times :)
justin's gonna enlist next week! how fast, i won't get to see much of him anymore. but i believe things will still be alright =) i'm gonna miss him!
speaking of which, i miss the happythreefriends from the bbq last wednesday. they consisted of a fish and a hermit crab donovan caught, and fabian's one-pincer crab! the bbq was fun with all that food and people. the only thing which dampened our spirits a little was when fabian lost his newly-bought wallet. the farewell ceremony for our three little friends was short, but sad. i won't get to see them anymore!
i'm going out of point so i'll end here.
HAPPY 2006 EVERYONE! it'll be a great year, Amen? =)
