saccharine.
hello :)
this goes out to the 05s214 peeps! if yu guys ever ever EVER read my blog, please let me know if any of yu are interested in any sort of CG-CIP activities okay. i know this sounds lame but i've got no choice. the CIP teacher sent an email regarding initiation of weird but FUNKY (yeah right) activities for yu guys to take part in! there are quite a few areas for yu people to venture into. so just come to me if yu wanna help people purely out of the goodness of your hearts okay? =)
and so, i'm blogging! haha.
i shall profess my (new) love for..
the OBOE! it's quite sudden, i know. haha but i was looking at xiao jun playing it just now during combine, and i just felt that the oboe is quite an awesome instrument. i mean, it's thinner (much thinner, thank you) than the clarinet but the sounds it produces can beat the teeny weeny sounds (or noises) the clarinet produces HANDSDOWN.
in addition, the oboe's intricate fingerings never cease to amaze me! yu know, i find the transition between consecutive notes on the instrument really odd. it's so much more difficult than the clarinet! the puzzling and most complicated, and not to mention sophiscated-looking, silver keys that glitter and shimmer under light are absolutely.. _______ [beautiful, WOW, whatever (take your pick, i've got a limited vocab yu see)].
yep, so the instrument of the week is definitely the
OBOE! i shall attach a picture here in case yu people are confused with the clarinet and the oboe =)

the sound the oboe produces is hauntingly beautiful! (sounds like corpse bride) that's if yu're listening to the correct oboe sound, haha.
okay, that aside. i shall talk about band today.
yu know what?! i was early! haha notice, i didn't say "on time". i was indeed
EARLY. (word of the week!) haha. exco meeting was supposed to commence at nine. and guess what time i reached the doorstep of the band room! 8.40am! haa, i couldn't have felt more accomplished i s w e a r ! i was the first to reach! ahha, that's something of a rarity isn't it! =)
woopeedoopeedoo! okay! i'd better get a hold of myself before i break the keyboard or something.
we may have band everyday. we may have to sit through hours and hours of sectionals and endless combines, but i need to say that dancing in the wind is a very nice piece! haha! thank God ms sia doesn't play it often or i may start getting sick and disliking it!
and and and. tomorrow's the last day of the CIP attachment programme! haha! i think sk, sarah and i are gonna give it a proper closure by pigging out at park mall's fish&co right after it ends! ahahahaha, i'm so relieved! CIP yesterday was quite terrible cause everyone was so lethargic and sleepy! plus the make-a-wish headquarters(?!) has big, nice, comfy and GREEN sofas which are terribly sleep-inducing! i died while making those usual weird phone calls for the various parties organised by drew&napier, coca cola, and blah blah blah. haha everyone wants to take the make-a-wish kids out! how annoyingly.. generous, hahaha. but at least i didn't have to call up 60 moms in one afternoon. haha sorry vannessa! i swear her ears and mouth were about to rot.
mm, had mtp but i guess i'm not in any position to decide how well/badly it went so i'll just leave it to mr justin teo to rattle on about it, if he wishes to! ahha. the ride home today was.. dark. the damned bus driver didn't switch the lights on for the right portion of the bus and everyone was like hidden in each other's shadows. haha what a weird description i realised. but never mind. i'm too lazy to construct proper sentences and expressions anyway!
oh, that reminds me. i've yet to touch my holiday homework? haha i'm so gonna die. shall try to find some of my notes by tonight. heard there are mountains and plantations and truckloads of gp assignments to complete so wish me luck!
yep, got to go! haha. good night =)
my, it's raining! nice nice!
