whee. i'm back. couldn't resist the temptation of the computer. mm. feeling a little bit guilty. didn't really make use of the long weekend. i just recall myself sleeping and eating a lot. i'm fat. urgh.

wokay. so now it's time for some recent updates. *longgg entry.
i went to watch the fireworks last sunday! ahh. but i heard it isn't that nice as compared to the week before last's. mm. xy managed to come along in the end. we met up at pp and had dinner there. we didn't bump into tofu and friends though. heard they were in the vicinity. xy and i were mad. couldn't stop laughing and fooling around. we even gave the toy pig a name. heh.

eventually, when we stopped fooling around, we realised that we were running late. ahh. we were supposed to reach the esplanade before 8.30pm. so we hurried down to the bus stop and prayed hard that buses 36 or 16 would arrive soon. bus 36 arrived shortly but the bus was packed with people. out of desperation, people were actually going into the bus through the back door. ahh. i figured they were all trying to get to the esplanade area to watch the fireworks. then xy and i decided to take taxi to the esplanade instead.

due to the massive jam, the taxi driver was rather pissed off with us. thought it wouldn't be fair to him if he got stuck in the traffic jam for one-two hours because of us. still, he was nice enough to drop us near suntec and we ran all the way to the esplanade. yeah. xy can really run by the way. i almost died along the way. and so, we got there just in the nick of time. the fireworks started next minute we arrived. whew. ahhh. the fireworks were beautiful. it was a marvel to me how the fireworks changed from red to blue colour. haha. yupp. truly enticing. :]

the fireworks lasted for about seven minutes. though i had to endure the crowded and noisy environment and squeeze through crowds to get a glimpse of the seven-minute short fireworks display, i thought it was all worth it. we saw yuhan, hui en and vita after the entire thing ended. vita wanted to watch the stars perform so we tried looking for the stage but ended up lost. finally, we found the stage after being directed by the female usher. she actually knew that we wanted to watch the stars. freaky. do we really look like 5566 fans?! how gross. i commented very loudly about how lousy 5566 is and this group of girls turned and glared at us. i bet yu they so wanted to bash me up. ahh.

mm. we had to queue up to enter the performance area. xy and i gave up queuing up after half an hour cuz everyone was cutting queue. so we headed home at approximately 10.30? ahh. overall, i did have fun. (:

and so, yesterday was national day! happy belated birthday, singapore(:
i saw the fireworks from my home! boy, it was charming(?). the sight of the fireworks will be etched in my memory forever. haha. :)
ahhh. PM goh chok tong stepped down! how depressing. ): i heard yuxuan took a photo with him before. but i think she lost the pictures already eh. mm.

singapore idol was hilarious by the way. lols.
mm. i was supposed to study with hoi and company today. ahh. but was too lazy to step out of my house so i didn't. i guess i wouldn't be able to concentrate fully anyway. ahahs.
i heard house of the flying daggers is not bad though the critics rated it one star.
