i'm happy with livejournal today. it was fast. yeah. :] anyhoots, we managed to get away for reaching school at 8.35am today. well, not really actually.. cuz we went to the general office to collect the yellow slip of paper, and i heard that's considered getting booked. yupp. butbutbut, we escaped from the evil clutches of MAN (ms andrianna ngaman)! heheh. heard they ran/walked/briskwalked for at least three rounds around the school. they perspired buckets too. hehs. am i gloating or whaat?

project reap was fun! the old people are so cute. haha. especially pam's buddy. she drew pam's haunting face on the board during the pass-the-parcel game. it was completely humorous. :)) hehs. i daresay they liked the souvenirs. whee. i'm delighted. :]

there was some confusion at the beginning. we gave one of our goodie bags to don'tknowwho cuz we thought we only had seven old folks with us. but, the eighth eldery person came halfway during the course of the games. yeah. and we were in turn short of one goodie bag. but fortunately, don'tknowwho returned the bag and all was well at the end. :))

i think zhu han's buddy is so nice and.. grandmotherly. i heard she combed the entire school compound to search for foodstuffs in exchange with her coupons. of course, she dragged zhu han along with her. zhu han came back from the so-called-carnival perspiring profusely. but that's not my point. the frail old lady walked a whole lot of distance all for the sake of her grandson. she didn't touch any of the food she 'bought'. she kept them neatly in a plastic bag, just to bring them home for her grandson.. i must comment that it was definitely very nice of her to do so. how sweet, loving and pleasant. :]

i had to stand in for hui en when she played for the brass ensemble. i was assigned to this 81-year-old lady who can't understand mandarin at all. yeah. and i can't converse in dialect, so there was a communication breakdown. she just nodded at whatever i tried to say with my lousy grasp of the chinese language. i bet she did try to understand my language. but to no avail, of course.

mm.. so anyways, i'd rate this year's project reap an A with a star! the elderly can be fun people to be with. yeah. am beginning to appreciate their goodness now. :))

we didn't watch spiderman with hui en and yuhan in the end. they were heading to suntec, while xy and i went to cineleisure for the movie. before that, we went to bugis/brasbasahcomplex to get some stuffs. there's this really enormous art shop there. art friend, is it? yeah. i've thought of what to get already. :]

yupp. then we took a bus to cine. got quite lost as we don't frequent that area often. we bumped into geraldine, yanqing and michelle ho! they said it was very coincidental cuz they just saw this replica of me minutes before we met them. haha. yeah. we took neoprints with them! it turned out rather nice. xy's gonna scan them out for me, so maybe i'll be able to post them here or something. nice.

we didn't catch spidey 2 eventually. it was getting late and we still had stuffs yet to be bought. i'm glad i managed to find what i wanted! though it's quite ex. but i bet it's all worth it. :]

so once again, when we wanted to head home, we got lost. tried to ask for directions but people weren't being very helpful. yet, xy was able to figure out the way to the correct bus stop all by herself. i must admit that she's smart. real smart. yupp. so we took buses home and died along the way due to exhaustion.
but it was fun.
so, no complaints. :]
